ReplyDeleteSuperb pictures of a fascinating bird. I think your second guess seems right. The head looks more BH Gull so a hybrid would be my first thought. I'd love to know where it was raised. I have photographed birds at Yarmouth carying French rings but surely there are pairs in unknown parts of Norfolk.
