Charcoal embered duck





I do like Scaup. These two adolescent drakes are currently on Stewartby lake and have been showing quite well today. The juv Iceland Gull that I saw shortly after was the bird of the day though. (look up what the scientific name of Scaup means if you don't get my title)

Bluebills


A mini-influx of these dudes in the county at the moment. Its gone from none on Saturday, to three on Sunday, and five today! Anyway, lovely ducks, Scaup. This one was at Brogborough Lake, 1st Nov.
