Steve Superb pictures of a fascinating bird. I think your second guess seems right. The head looks more BH Gull so a hybrid would be my first thought. I'd love to know where it was raised. I have photographed birds at Yarmouth carying French rings but surely there are pairs in unknown parts of Norfolk. John Charman john@charman.org

Well, I reckon its just nice image of birds. Really nice images of birds. In fact, it doesn't really have to be birds if you look down my blog. I started at birds, but it's widened to mammals too. So, really nice images of birds AND mammals then. There, sorted.
